Dia de Los Muertos for Kids
HERE’S ONE THING we know: Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is not a Mexican version of Halloween. Though related, the two annual events differ greatly in traditions and tone. Whereas Halloween is a dark night of terror and mischief, Day of the Dead festivities unfold over two days in an explosion of color and life-affirming joy.
About the event
This event aims to introduce this Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico to the little ones. And what could be better than organising some workshops evolving around this festivity.
Althought the theme evolves around the death, the point is to demonstrate love and respect for deceased family members. And to do so, we will follow the way they do in towns and cities throughout Mexico, where revelers don funky makeup and costumes.
